Malawi Heritage Awards 2021

The Malawi Heritage UK will be holding its first Physical Awards – The Malawi Heritage Awards 2021.

These awards was introduced last year as one way of encouraging groups and individuals who are

making a difference in the community , whether here in the diaspora or back home. It also recognises

the great work and efforts of friends of Malawi.

The first recipient of these awards was SSGT Bruno Kantiki who last year raised around 3,000 pounds for Malawi

Health Workers Personal Protective Equipment through a 100 miles challenge. His selfless commitment inspired

many people and groups to do something too. The Malawi Heritage awarded Ssgt Kantiki with certificate of recognition.

This year we though to extend this by honoring Groups and Individuals that have made tremendous contribution

during the pandemic.

The awards ceremony will be held on 27th November 2021 at MAV UK HALL HULME -full address on the flyer. it will start at 6pm – Midnight and we are expecting to have the Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester Her Worship Cllr Donna Ludford to be the guest of honor and present the awards.

Tickets are going at £35/ head and that include the dinner.

There will also be music performance entertainment on the day by Queen Sheba, Ras Andy, Wiza Kaunda and Nic Thindwa.
